Following are the steps do choose the right excavator auger drives :

(1) You can check what is post hole diamater and depth you want. For example you need hole diameter 500MM with 2M depth.

(2)  Have a look at the soil material, if it is soft soil, sandy or any rocks, so you can choose different types post hole auger drill bits for it.

(3) Check your machines working weight. For example for Kubota mini excavator KX018 with working weight 1800KG, or Bobcat S450 Skid Steer Loader with working weight 2300KG.
