Several Aspects To Consider When Choosing A Breaker

Apr 04, 2020

In the construction process, the breaker plays a vital role. It can better clean the floating stones and the soil in the cracks of the rock during the excavation of the building foundation, and achieve more efficient building base treatment, making The project was completed more smoothly and qualified. However, if these devices want to exert their due functional effects, these aspects need to be considered in the selection.

1. The weight and bucket capacity of the excavator

Full consideration of the weight of the excavator can prevent the excavator from tipping when the boom is fully extended due to the weight of the breaker being too large, which is too small to fully exert the function of the excavator, and also accelerate the damage of the hammer. Matching the weight can make full use of the excavator and its effectiveness.

2. Working flow and pressure

The working flow rate of hammers of different sizes is different. The flow rate of the small hammer can be as small as 23L per minute, and the sledge hammer can reach more than 400L per minute. After the selection, the flow requirements of the excavator backup valve should be consistent with the flow requirements. The size of the flow rate determines its working frequency, that is, the number of impacts per minute, and the flow rate is proportional to the number of impacts. When the output flow of the backup valve of the excavator is greater than the demand flow of the hammer, it will cause the hydraulic system to generate too much heat, causing the system temperature to be too high and reducing the service life of the components.

3. Structure vehicle

There are currently three common designs of breakers, which are triangular, splint and box (also called silent type).

Triangle type and splint type usually use two thick steel splints to protect both sides of the hammer core. Such a structural design does not protect its front and back.

The box-type structure is that the outer shell completely encloses the hammer body, and the outer shell is provided with a damping material, which can reduce the vibration of the carrier while generating a buffer between the hammer body and the outer shell. Good protection, low noise, reduced vibration to the carrier, and also solved the problem of loose housing, which is also the mainstream and development trend of the global market.

These three aspects not only need more consideration in the selection process of the breaker, but also have certain considerations in its use process, because referring to these aspects, we can also judge whether the quality or model of the product meets the requirements. Only by confirming that the quality and model of the product meet the requirements for use can it be guaranteed that it will exert its application effect in the work process.
