Dual-Cylinder Hydraulic Shear
The excavator mounted hydraulic shear is a heavy-duty cutting tool designed specifically for dismantling large steel structures such as scrapped ships. Equipped with a dual-cylinder system, this hydraulic shear delivers superior cutting force and stability, making it an ideal solution for shipbreaking, demolition, and scrap metal recycling operations.
Engineered for durability and efficiency, this tool can easily be attached to standard excavators, converting them into powerful cutting machines capable of handling thick steel, beams, and hull components.

Installation steps
For engineers with knowledge of hydraulic principles and experience in heavy-duty machine maintenance, the installation of scrap metal shear is not a difficult task. Basically, we just need to follow the following steps:
-
Check whether the excavator itself has installed the hydraulic pipeline for driving the hydraulic shear. In addition to the oil input and output lines, an extra hydraulic line is also required to drive the rotary motor of the shear.
-
Check if the grab pins diamension and installation width are same to your excavators.
- Hang the shear to your excavator by grab pins on the head
- Connect the three line hoses from excavator to the hydraulic shear .
- Check whether the output flow of the excavator hydraulic pump is sufficient.
- Debugging the operating handle in the excavator cabin until the hydraulic shear can work under good condition.
