Different Excavator Bucket Choose

 Selection of Excavator bucket

  1. Choose according to the working environment: Different working environments require different types of buckets
  2. Selection based on material properties: The hardness, viscosity and other characteristics of the material affect the selection of the bucket.
  3. Select according to excavator model:The size and connection method of the bucket need to match the excavator.

Match the excavator model
Bucket capacity calculation: Bucket capacity = excavator tonnage x 0.04~0.06 (for example: a 20T excavator with a 0.8-1.2m³ bucket).
Working pressure adaptation: The maximum load of the bucket needs to be ≤ the rated pressure of the excavator hydraulic system (such as 20MPa)

Parameters required by customers when ordering buckets
1. Confirm the type of bucket
2. Confirm the brand and model of the excavator
3. Confirm the width and volume of the bucket
4. Purchase quantity
5. Whether to use reinforced materials, add wear-resistant blocks, bucket teeth and other details need to be confirmed with the customer separately.

Material selection
1. High-strength steel: Commonly used materials are wear-resistant and high-strength steel.
2. Wear-resistant materials: Use wear-resistant steel plates or surfacing wear-resistant layers in areas prone to wear

Use and maintenance of digging bucket
Correct installation: Make sure the connection between the bucket and the excavator is firm and avoid loosening.
Regular inspection: Check the wear of bucket teeth, side edges and bucket bottom plate, and replace damaged parts in time.
Lubrication and maintenance: Lubricate the connecting ear plates and other moving parts regularly to reduce wear.
Avoid overloading: Avoid overloading the bucket to prevent deformation or damage of the bucket body.

Routine maintenance
Lubrication period: Oil the pin shaft and lug plate every 50 hours (NLGI grade 2 lithium grease is recommended).

Wear inspection standards: Bucket tooth wear ≤ 1/3 of original length needs to be replaced
The side edge thickness is less than 50% of the original thickness and needs to be repaired or replaced.
